Fiestas y olé!
In Santa Ponsa various fiestas take place:
June:
Second week- El Rocío: Music and Spanish dancing, in honour of the virgin.
23rd June- Sant Juan: Evening, devils dancing & fireworks, followed by traditional midnight swim in the sea for purification.
July:
25th July- San Jaume. Concerts, markets and diverse activities.
September:
First week- Rei en Jaume I.
Cristians and Moors fight on the beach, medieval handicraft market, concert on the beach. |
